This beautifully articulates a familiar feeling!

The ending line stayed with me for a while after reading. It captures something really hard to admit about staying in places, situations, or even versions of ourselves that aren’t good for us, just because they’re familiar. There’s something so unsettling about it. I think a lot of people will recognize themselves in that “grey” even if they don’t want to.

Aw thank you so much for reading! Yes it’s a very Noah Khan first album feeling isn’t it. Kind of terrifying how easy it is to stay in place you don’t fit in just for comfortability. I’m glad you liked or resonated with this poem it means a lot ✨:)

What a wonderful poem. Really captures the feeling of staying in one place really well. Btw I read the poem properly then went and read it backwards. Not sure why but felt the urge. And it was just as stunning. Which I thought was cool ✨✨✨

" It loves me , it fools me " that line hits hard .

Comfort isn't always bad ,

but being aware of the price it's costing you in certain situations is something more people need to be aware of in order to really be free from our own predicaments.

Thank you so much for reading! Yes exactly comfort can be good and sometimes necessary but it’s important not to let it take over.
